How to Download Facebook Videos to Your Phone

Facebook doesn't make it easy to save videos to your phone. Here's the quickest method.

On iPhone

1. Open the Facebook video in the Facebook app

2. Tap Share → Copy Link

3. Open Safari and go to vdodownload.com

4. Paste the link and tap Get Video

5. Choose your quality and tap Download

6. The video saves to your Files app (or Photos, depending on settings)

On Android

1. Open the Facebook video in the Facebook app

2. Tap Share → Copy Link

3. Open Chrome and go to vdodownload.com

4. Paste the link and tap Get Video

5. Choose quality and tap Download

6. The video saves to your Downloads folder

Troubleshooting

"Video won't download on iPhone"

iOS sometimes opens the video in a player instead of downloading. Long-press the download link and select "Download Linked File".

"Can't find the downloaded video"

Check the Files app → Downloads folder on iPhone, or the Downloads folder on Android.

"Public videos only"

Facebook videos from private accounts or closed groups cannot be downloaded. The video must be publicly accessible.
